The Save Our Castles Action Plan aims to address a societal challenge. There are 30,000 castles in France, with 600 considered to be in "peril," and it is predicted that this number could multiply by 10 within the next ten years.

The rescue of an endangered monument usually costs astronomical amounts, exceeding one million euros. If we do the math, it will cost 6 billion euros to save these monuments within the next ten years, which is the entire budget allocated to historical monuments by the Ministry of Culture (including all monuments).
